Classes take place at The Movement Suite, located at 2450 Delhi Commerce, Suite 1b, Holt, MI 48842.

What should I wear to class?

Wear layers:
Many pole moves require some exposed skin grip to make them work. It’s best to wear short, tight-fitting layers as a base (sports bra or dance belt, your smallest shorts, tank top) and then layers for warmth on top (leggings/sweatpants, sweater). We typically dance in bare feet or socks, though some classes will be designed for wearing heels.

Some companies make sticky leggings for pole dancing. If you prefer to keep more of your skin covered in class, check out these links:

Do not wear:
Rings/jewelry - These can be a pinch hazard and can scratch up the poles.

Moisturizer - Do not use moisturizer or lotion on your hands or body before you come to class. These will make it really hard for you to grip the pole.

What if my hands are really slippery?

There are a variety of products available to help your hands grip the pole. We can discuss these in class, and I will have a few available to borrow/try.

Are classes limited by gender?

Classes are open to all genders.

Do I have to already be strong to come to class?

Nope! Classes are open to all fitness levels. There will be modifications offered to make movements more difficult or more accessible as needed for each student.

Do I have to have a certain body type to come to class?

Absolutely not! All bodies are welcome. People of all sizes and shapes can learn to pole dance.
